2. Service

cyclip is an online tool to create and edit short-form video content (including scripts, scenes, and media). Features depend on your plan. Outputs may be AI-assisted; we do not warrant their accuracy or legality (for example regarding third-party intellectual property or personality rights).

3. Account

Use requires registration (authentication via our infrastructure provider). You must keep login details confidential and notify us without undue delay of any misuse.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a non-exclusive licence, limited to the term of the agreement, to store, process, and display your content as needed to provide the service.

5. Payments

Subscriptions and one-off purchases are processed by Stripe. Payment details (such as card numbers) are handled by Stripe and are not stored by us. Stripe’s terms apply in addition.

6. Prohibited use

In particular, you must not:

• upload or generate unlawful, harassing, or discriminatory content;
• infringe third-party rights (including copyright, trade marks, or privacy);
• circumvent technical protections or abuse automation.

We may block content or terminate access where there is good cause to do so.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and as required by mandatory law. Otherwise, we are liable only for breach of material contractual duties, limited to foreseeable loss typical for this type of contract, where permitted by law. We exclude liability for lost profits and indirect damage where the law allows.

8. Term and termination

Paid plans follow the respective offer. You may cancel paid services via Stripe’s customer tools where available. We may restrict or end access for good cause.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We will inform you of material changes by appropriate means. If you do not object within the stated period, the new version may be deemed accepted where we have clearly informed you of this consequence.

10. Governing law

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection in the country of your habitual residence. Venue for merchants, where permitted, is [Venue for merchants where permitted, e.g. provider’s registered seat]; for consumers, statutory venues apply.
